About Us
PollyWorks Entertainment Group is a boutique music consultancy built for independent artists who are ready to take their careers seriously. With over 25 years of experience in music, television, and live entertainment, we provide the tools, strategy, and creative support needed to move from idea to impact.
PollyWorks was founded by Paula Orange, an award-winning entertainment professional who has spent her life surrounded by music. Raised in Tuskegee, Alabama — a cultural hub that gave rise to artists like Lionel Richie and The Commodores — Paula grew up immersed in the rhythm of legacy. Her father, Walter Orange, is a founding member of the Grammy Award-winning Commodores and co-writer of the global hit Brick House. Her mother, Dr. Ann Marie Depas-Orange, was a university professor and published literary scholar whose teachings nurtured Paula’s gift for storytelling and strategy.
Before launching PollyWorks, Paula worked with names across music, sports, and broadcast entertainment, including over a decade with ESPN, where she won a Sports Emmy Award. Her career spans artist development, operations, content strategy, and event production — giving her a unique 360° understanding of what it really takes to build, launch, and sustain an artist’s brand.
PollyWorks is the culmination of a lifelong passion to help artists be seen, heard and respected — not just creatively, but professionally.
Strategically built. Artist approved. The blueprint behind every breakthrough.
Our Story
PollyWorks Entertainment Group was born from legacy, love, and lived experience.
Founded by Paula Orange, PollyWorks is rooted in a lifelong immersion in both music and storytelling. Paula is the daughter of Walter Orange, legendary founding member of The Commodores, and Dr. Ann Marie Depas-Orange, a literary scholar and university professor. Her father gave her rhythm. Her mother gave her voice. Together, they shaped the foundation of what PollyWorks is today.
From growing up backstage to leading operations in sports and television, Paula has always been where creativity meets execution. Her Emmy-winning career at ESPN and her years working with emerging and legacy artists alike gave her a unique view of the industry — one that values structure as much as soul.
PollyWorks isn’t just a business. It’s a blueprint built from real experience, created to serve artists who are serious about their craft and want to launch, grow, and sustain their careers with intention.
Every offering at PollyWorks is backed by passion, strategy, and a commitment to legacy.
